  • Mario Armstrong, Technology Correspondent, NPR. Mario hosts several programs that discuss today’s hottest issues in technology on NPR and XM Radio, and frequently appears on radio and TV dissecting the intricacies of technology to consumers and businesses. The former Chief Technology Advocate for Mayor O'Malley (now Governor of Maryland) Mario brings unique insight into technology’s role in government and the public sector.
  • Craig Stoltz, Principal, Stoltz Digital Strategy Group. Craig is a 20-year veteran of the traditional and digital media industries. He was the first consumer technology editor at The Washington Post and recently launched the beta of PBS Engage, the public TV network’s social media initiative.
  • Sandy Carter, IBM Vice President of SOA and WebSphere Marketing. Sandy is responsible for IBM’s worldwide SOA initiatives and is in charge of one of IBM’s premier brands, IBM WebSphere. She is known for her innovative marketing efforts and has led her team to win seventeen social media marketing awards in the past year. She recently published her second book -- The New Language of Marketing & Web 2.0 – How to use Angels to energize your market.
  • Rebecca McMenamin, New Media Director, International Broadcasting Bureau/Voice of America. Rebecca is responsible for expanding Voice of America’s use of online digital media to reach global audiences.  For the past two years, Ms. McMenamin has focused on conceiving and implementing strategies to both build out VOA’s digital platforms and to use social media networks for distribution.  Recent efforts include development of a community-oriented election web site, increased distribution of video and mobile products and use of blogs.  Ms. McMenamin has worked in international broadcasting for 25 years.  Prior to launching new media projects, she worked as a reporter and editor and held several programming and management positions, including Program Coordinator for VOA’s 45 language services. 
  • Todd Marks, President, Mindgrub Technologies. Todd focuses on web 2.0 applications, social media and location based services.  Todd Co-Founded and manages the social networks Edinfo.tv and viaPlace.com and worked with the Voice of America to produce the usaVotes2008.com social media site this summer.
  • Alan Wolk, Creative Strategist, The Toad Stool. One of the only new voices to come out of the creative side of the ad business, Alan Wolk has staked out a distinctive space for himself and his Toad Stool consultancy. The wide-ranging appeal of Wolk’s common-sense approach to strategy, as exemplified by his “Your Brand Is Not My Friend” series, has made him the go-to guy for social media thought leadership, speaking and consulting.
  • Alex Blum, CEO, KickApps. One of the leading executives in the social media and online video industries, Alex was named by Sports Business Journal as one of five people you need to know in social networking. Prior to joining KickApps, Alex spent over 8 years at AOL in various executive management positions.
