July 14, 2008 | Clickability Named Hot 100 Software Company by JMP Securities as Web Content Management Company Continues Impressive Growth

SAN FRANCISCO – July 14, 2008 – Clickability, the global leader in on demand Web Content Management (WCM), today announced its distinction as one of the hottest 100 private companies in the software industry, as identified by the software research team at JMP Securities, an investment banking and alternative asset management firm. Clickability’s hosted, on demand WCM model supports JMP Securities’ view that Software as a Service (SaaS) is a major trend to watch this year.

In addition, Nollenberger Capital Partners, Inc., a privately held investment banking and advisory services firm, has given Clickability an honorable mention in its Top 200 Private Technology Companies list for 2008.

“We are delighted to be listed among some of the fastest growing and most innovative companies in the technology industry,” said John Girard, CEO of Clickability. “These high honors serve as testament to the fact that powerful companies in all sectors are turning to Clickability for strategic, efficient, and cost-effective ways to unify their Web publishing, enterprise marketing, and internal communications needs.”

Further highlighting the company’s growth is the addition of three new executive-level hires — Steve Atherton as vice president of engineering and client services, Tom Cignarella as vice president of technology operations, and Julia Fasick as director of software engineering. The new appointments all have strong expertise in the software development lifecycle, bolstering Clickability’s position as the leader in Web Content Management.

Steve Atherton brings twenty-five years of experience in technology, engineering, and sales engineering to Clickability, where he oversees all of the company’s platform development, professional services implementation, and customer support initiatives. Atherton will manage the evolution of the company’s WCM platform and ensure the ongoing success of Clickability’s rapidly increasing customer base. Previously, Atherton led technology teams at Motorola, Sybase, OnDisplay, ClearCommerce, and Aruna Solutions in both Europe and the U.S.

As vice president of technology operations, Tom Cignarella is responsible for all aspects of the Clickability SaaS infrastructure. He manages the strategic planning, infrastructure deployment, and daily technology operations, ensuring the company meets and exceeds customer requirements for uptime, reliability, performance and security. Prior to joining Clickability, Cignarella was vice president of technology operations at PlanetOut. Previous roles include managing infrastructure operations at Symantec, BEA, Autodesk, Ariba, Excite, and Textainer, Inc.

In her role as director of software engineering, Julia Fasick is responsible for delivering on the technical vision of the Clickability on demand WCM platform by developing a high-quality product that meets customer needs. Heading up the development, quality assurance, and product management teams, she is focused on building out Clickability’s engineering organization to meet the needs of a rapidly growing customer base. Fasick brings over 18 years of experience in software development and engineering management at RSA Security, Autodesk, and Buzzsaw.

“The strategic addition of Steve, Tom, and Julia positions our company for continued growth in the WCM market,” said John Girard. “We are thrilled to have such an experienced, diverse, and creative team working to deliver an enterprise-grade platform for our customers and users.”

In order to meet the needs of its growing roster of enterprise and media customers, the company is adding a new SAS 70-certified, co-location center. With the new facility, Clickability further supports its “SaaS is Green” initiative to “green” the Web through its on demand, multi-tenant SaaS model and use of power-saving blade servers.

Lastly, to further facilitate Clickability’s expansion, the company has moved its headquarters to a larger location in San Francisco’s Financial District. Clickability is now located at 300 California Street, San Francisco, Calif., 94104.
