Clickability Platform Application Architecture

Fig. 4 Clickability Platform Application Infrastructure

Built on open standards

Clickability Platform is built on generic, widely accepted and readily available technologies, including Linux, Apache, Java, MySQL, Tomcat, Lucene, Squid, Ehcache, Memcache, and QMail. In addition to controlling costs, this makes it easier for customers to use the Platform as a basis for innovation, and to integrate more easily with third party applications.

Built to scale quickly

Clickability Platform is built on commodity hardware.  Using many small servers not only makes it possible to scale quickly and safely, it underpins a robust load balancing system.

Built for maximum uptime

With two, soon three,  distributed data centers and master to master replication, Clickability Platform is able to handle both regular data backups and extreme spikes in traffic with no interruption of service to client websites. Clickability offers its customers the industry’s most stringent SLAs.

Built for speed

Clickability Platform’s intelligent cache design assures the rapid page rendering an effective CMS requires. Distributed caching leverages memory, while Smart Cache allows the overlay of personalization and social media features on top of a previously published page.

Built to be extensible and resilient

Clickability Platform’s database design makes it unique among content management systems for how easily modules can be added with no impact to the existing system. Our multiple data centers eliminate the single point of failure common to most installed ECMs.

Built for security

Clickability Platform uses industry-standard security protocols.  Firewalls are deployed in redundant pairs. Stringent separation of client data is assured by the underlying system design.  The platform has passed the security audits of two of our most demanding customers—making it more secure than 98% of individual companies’ web deployments.
