What does it take to be considered a best in class website? John Lovett of the Aberdeen group has put together a great report on what the most successful website are doing and how that translates to their overall success.
Some of the key findings in the report include the adoption of a web content management system, targeted visitor segmentation, and the future use of social media or web 2.0 tools by the best of class websites. For those of you looking for a new web content management platform, thinking of redesigning, or just want to know how to improve your current website, I'd recommend downloading the report while it's available. It's currently available with registration at: http://www.aberdeen.com/summary/report/benchmark/4010-RA-online-content.asp.
