After several months of strategy, planning and argument, we've finally settled on a new Information Architecture, website design and content overhaul for clickability.com. We set out to unify and simplify the design we use across our many websites (corporate, product information, customer success, and training). As many of you know, this is no small challenge. To make it just a bit more interesting, we also sought to produce materials throughout the process that could be used to guide future customers towards the materials they would need to implement a new CMS.
We are extremely happy with the resulting visual design (let us know if you cannot find everything you are looking for quickly!). Expert guidance and design were provided by our agency partner Astone.
Some of the best practices we are using (and the feature inside the platform making it possible):
-human readable URLs (URL Resource Name)
-content re-use (Targeting)
-conversational marketing (Blog, Comments, Ratings, Social Media)
-content promotion (Content Intelligence - Embedded Analytics)
-landing pages and lead generation (Content Types, Salesforce, Google integration)
-SEO (MetaData, Dynamic Page and Section Titles, Permanent URL Redirects)
As you explore the site, you will see red "C" ions - mouse-over those to learn more about how that particular feature or component of the site is created/managed.
